Meet the HealthStyles Exercise Equipment Team

Dave Sheriff
Spent most of his early years in Minnesota. Played football and wrestled in high school and college. Has a passion for fitness and pursued a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology. Has worked in the fitness industry ever since, and started HealthStyles Exercise Equipment with his wife Jeanne in 1993. Enjoys golf, biking and skiing and spending time with his four grandchildren.

Jeanne Sheriff
Moved from Minnesota after college and loves living in Glenwood Springs. Was a “late onset” exerciser and started competing in sprint triathlons at age 50. Loves biking, golfing, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Married 35 years to her husband Dave, and they are co-owners of HealthStyles Exercise Equipment since 1993.

Gregg Theander
Has a passion for fitness and has worked the industry for almost 30 years. Plays competitive beach and 6 person volleyball and is an avid runner and cyclist. Free time is spent with his 2 children ages 7 and 8. Has worked for HealthStyles since 1994 and is currently regional manager for the Northern Colorado stores.

Tim Hilgert
Moved to Colorado from Connecticut to be a snowboard bum for a year (that was 14 years ago). Miss the ocean but love the mountains more. Love enjoying all Colorado has to offer with my wife Debbie, 5 year old son Noah, 1 year old daughter Karson and 6 year old Siberian Husky Kasha. Fitness has been part of my life forever. Played football in college and cycling, snowboarding and golf are now my passions. Have been in the Fitness industry for 10 years and with HealthStyles for 4 years.

Bill Allen
Knoxville, TN. Native transplanted to Fort Collins, Colorado in August of 2007. A total outdoor enthusiast who enjoys all aspects of Colorado, from hiking and climbing in the summer to skiing in the winter. In the fitness industry since 2000, and enjoys all aspects of helping people with their fitness needs. Started with HealthStyles in September, 2007.

Scott Laurent
Born in New York City. Moved to Colorado in 1997 to race Mountain Bikes. Loves to golf, play bike polo and snowboard. Has 3 dogs named Bergen, Carter and Dugan. Favorite book- anything written by Ray Bradbury. Favorite Band- The Red Hot Chile Peppers. Nickname- Hammer. Been with Healthstyles since 2005.

Micky Schlagel
Denver, Colorado native. Enjoys the Rocky Mountain outdoors. Played college basketball. Loves to workout, stay active and play as many sports as possible. Has a basset hound named Wilson. Favorite team is the Denver Nuggets. Eats chicken all day every day. Been with Healthstyles since October of 2007.

Brad Libbrecht
Has been enjoying the Colorado lifestyle since 1998. Favorite activities include snowboarding, skiing, fly-fishing, and camping. His days off usually include hiking in Boulder with his dog Simba. Brad has worked with HealthStyles since 2005 and manages the Boulder store. Previously, he had managed a health club in downtown Boulder for 7 years. After hours, you can find him doing CrossFit workouts in the Boulder Training Studio.

Cory House
Grew up in Grand Lake, CO. Currently working on degree in Kinesiology at Mesa State College. Enjoys being outdoors and being as active as possible. Loves to play basketball, golf, football, soccer, volleyball, and tennis. If he is not playing sports he’s watching the Nuggets, Rockies, and Redskins. Has been with HealthStyles since June of 2009.

Van Seyler
Born and raised on the family farm in Nebraska. Has 3 sons, 1 grandson & another grandchild on the way. Passions include family, downhill skiing, pheasant hunting, the Cornhuskers and all types of exercise. Has a black lab/border collie named Kyrah. Has worked for HealthStyles since 2005.

Andy Brossard
Born & raised in Wisconsin. Huge Packers and Badgers fan. Moved to Colorado in 1986 and started working for HealthStyles in 1993. Tries to do something exercise/activity related 364 days a year. Commuted to work by bike last summer and ended up logging over 2,300 miles!

Ryan Harlow
Born in Wyoming-played college baseball at North Idaho College and Minot State University-Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Fitness- Married with 4 beautiful children and a lovely wife from Canada. Loves the Colorado outdoors, baseball, and hanging out with his family. Favorite professional baseball player is the one and only Ken Griffey Jr. Favorite Band is Pearl Jam. Is addicted to ice cream – which is why he works out! Been part of the Healthstyles team since 2003

Leona Arnett
Born in Washington, grew up in Wyoming, and moved to Colorado in 1971. Raised 3 boys and 1 girl in Rifle. Married to Dale, my high school sweetheart, for 31 years. Has 8 grand children (all boys), 6 cats, and 2 horses. There is nothing better for the inside of a person than the back of a horse and the mountains. Been with HealthStyles since September, 2008.

Leslie Riggs-Cook
‘Bama girl who moved to Colorado to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Husband and dog are the center of her life. On the weekends, she can be found on a 4WD trail in their 4-Runner, participating in an archery tournament, or playing water-girl and first aid for husband’s rugby team. Also enjoys bodybuilding, yoga and competitive sports. Personal challenge is to climb and camp a 14er, and compete in the Arnold Classic. Have been with HealthStyles’ Corporate Office since June 2008.

James Mayberry
Is a Native Coloradoan who has been in the fitness industry for 20 years. Lives in Northern Colorado with his wife, Shauna and two children, Samantha and Jayden. Loves all sports and boating with friends and family in the summer. Teaches indoor cycling classes. Has been with HealthStyles since Spring of 2008 and enjoys working for a company that believes fitness is not just a fad, it’s a lifestyle.

Dionne Richman
Native Okie and avid Sooners fan. Moved to Colorado in ’07 with her husband, Nathan and her sister, Jamie. Attended TCC in Oklahoma for Journalism and Mass Communication. Techie and fitness junkie. Dionne loves running, strength training with calisthenics and yoga. Likes long walks up any 14’r and Wii Fit! Through a dedicated lifestyle change, Dionne has lost 70lbs and is keeping it off! Been with HealthStyles since April ’09.

Kurt Davies
A native Coloradoan who has been involved in Fitness and Athletics for over 20 years. Competed in Track and Field (pole vault and decathlon) while getting a Sports Medicine degree at CSU, class of ’02. Coaches pole vaulters at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins. Was a personal trainer for several years before joining the HealthStyles team in ‘05. In his free time enjoys golfing, camping, and still competing in the pole vault.

Kevin Mickle
Born in South Jersey and raised in Delaware. Is a three time cancer survivor. Fitness has been a passion most of his life. Studied Tang Soo Do for 9 years and achieved a 2nd Degree Black Belt by the age of 16. Began weight training at the age of 21 and has been in the fitness industry since the fall of ’99. Moved to Colorado in fall ’05 from South Florida to hike the Colorado 14ers and has have hiked above 14,000 feet 25 times over the past 4 years. Has been a part of Healthstyles since fall of ’05. Employee of the year 2007.

Jessica Johnson
Born and bred Colorado Native. Has never lived anywhere else but is open to living anywhere with a beach. Went to school for personal training and absolutely love anything having to do with fitness. Favorite pastime is curling up on the couch with my cats to read a graphic novel. Has a wonderful, supportive husband that keeps her out of trouble… sometimes. Has been with the Healthstyles team since May 2007.

Caryn Hettler
A fourth generation Colorado native. Holds a BS in Sports Medicine, has worked for Healthstyles since 2003 in the commercial division. Loves to exercise, especially enjoys triathlon, running, biking, cross-county skiing, weight training and yoga. Other interest include traveling, gardening and cooking. Married to a wonderful man and love of her life!

Bill Crawford
Busy family man with a wife and two young children. Former collegiate wrestler, amateur body builder and avid cyclist. Favorite past time, playing soccer with his son and taking little Katie to the park. Loves helping his family and customers stay healthy and enjoy life to the fullest. “Because the best things in life aren’t things.” With Health Styles since November of 2005.

Michelle Fritzler
Wanna be ski bum, could eat Mexican food everyday, gym rat, runs 50 miles a week. Moved to Colorado from Texas just for the mountains and sunsets. Nickname “Chatty Cathy”, loves working out at 5am, University of Houston graduate, couldn’t imagine life without her health, family, dogs and wonderful husband. Started with Healthstyles in January 2009.
